Types of Compression stockings
Medical graduated compression stockings
Medical graduated compression stockings have therapeutic functions and are suitable for patients with varicose veins and spider veins. They can also be prescribed according to individual needs.
When worn, the pressure on the ankles, calves, knees, and thighs gradually decreases from bottom to top, pushing venous blood in the lower limbs back into the thighs and abdominal cavity. This promotes the return of venous blood from the feet to the heart, prevents blood from stagnating in the calves or feet for extended periods, and reduces excessive venous pressure. As a result, they help relieve fatigue in the lower limbs caused by long periods of standing or sitting and may slow the deterioration of varicose veins.
Since these types of compression stockings exert greater pressure and require regular monitoring of changes in the veins, they are generally not available for open purchase in stores. They need to be prescribed by a medical professional to avoid complications in the feet.

Non-Medical Compression Stockings
Non-medical compression stockings are preventive and protective and can be purchased openly. However, the pressure of this type is generally lower. Additionally, wearing inappropriate compression stockings may not only fail to improve varicose veins but could also worsen the condition. Users should choose carefully.
Casual Compression Socks
These can be worn during leisure activities to reduce pressure on the legs. For example, they can be worn while exercising, dancing, or on the plane.
